Burney Brothers is one of a group of eateries that share space called the Commons, a large, open space with tables for eating, having coffee with friends, doing school work or computer work, reading, having meetings, or generally using in a casual, relaxed manner.
There are play areas available for small children, and there are high chairs available for dining. The bookstore is right there for browsing in, as well as a King County Library branch down an escalator. There is plenty of shopping available at stores within the Towne Center.
There is a large stage that is used on Saturday evenings to present live music, usually swing or big band, and an area in front of the stage that can be used for dancing. There is no cost to the public. In addition, the stage is frequently used to present touring authors featuring their newest books and for other community-based meetings and gatherings.
Burney Brothers has been serving customers at Lake Forest Park since 2004. Steve Burney is originally from Texas and learned his barbecue skills while spending some time in Tennessee. The Memphis style is probably the closet description of our type of sauce and cooking.
Burney Brothers is available for catering events up to about two hundred people. In the past, we have served many corporate events for companies like Horizon Air, Boeing Co., Top Foods Market, Microsoft, Nintendo, and the University of Washington. We can customize a menu for just about any budget. Cost is usually based on the number of people and the variety of food items offered. Generally, the cost will range between $12 to $25 per person, plus King County sales tax. To get current pricing or to discuss menu options, contact Steve Burney at 206-417-6200.
